Angie and Cody were so fun to photograph, even though the clouds looked like they could open up at any minute. The sun finally peeked through the clouds as we were driving away!
We were up in Pendleton at Falls Creek Park. The water was loud and noisy going over the falls, but it was still fun... especially when no one fell in the creek!

During football season, their house is split between Da Bears and The Colts. Fortunately, they always seem to be all hugs no matter who wins!

Emily & Nick at BU
Sunday was a gorgeous day for engagement pics!
Emily and Nick were fun to work with --- she has such a fun smile!

We, of course, had to visit the Bell Tower behind Clowes Hall, since that's where Nick proposed to her.

Jen and Aaron (and Ike the gnome)

Wow! What a day!
Jen and Aaron had a wonderful day for a wedding this past weekend. The ceremony was in the conservatory at the White River Garden. Decor and coordination was handled by Lisa Gorman and the girls at Memory Makers! They did a great job keeping everything on schedule.
This day was just, in a word, FUN! Jen and Aaron have great fun loving personalities. From the various phrases they used as table names at the reception, to toting Ike the Gnome around with them everywhere the week of the wedding, they are truly some of the world's happiest and fun-loving souls!
Their day was extremely special to them, and it really showed in the images we created.

Meet IKE...

Well, since every wedding has a story...
Meet IKE the Gnome.
Perhaps Jen will leave a comment to describe Ike's story for all of our wonderful readers.
She's on Honeymoon with Aaron, and I hear that Ike stowed away in their suitcase. If Ike sends me any pics of his travels, I may post them here.
But for now... let's just assume that Ike is having as much fun this week as he had at Jen and Arron's wedding this weekend!

Fridays and Sundays
It's the time of year that I start setting the schedule as to which assistant works which wedding with me.
Since my primary two assistants are both college students... they are hungry for work that doesn't impact their class schedule.
They twisted my arm -- hard -- they want more work. They even said they'd work Fridays and Sundays during the summer. They've decided that I need to have a special package just for the remaining open Friday's and Sundays in 2008.
We have most of the Fridays & Sundays in June, July, Aug and Sept open.
Here are the Fridays and Sunday that are NOT available:
June 20
July 18
Aug 8 (But Sat Aug 9 is still open!)
Oct 3
Oct 10
Here's the special deal:
This coverage is normally $2,350 for a Saturday, and $2,250 for a Friday or Sunday.
If you'd like us to photograph your Friday or Sunday wedding on a day NOT listed above, then we can extend the following special price and keep my assistants working.
Friday and Sunday 2008 Special... $1,850.00
- Coverage by Troy (and an assistant) at unlimited locations.
- No Image Limits… we average over 800 images per wedding!
- Editing, cropping, and effects (black and white, sepia etc) applied to images
- Online Proof Gallery -- for family and friends to view and order professional prints -- if you don't want to take and print their orders
- Reproduction Rights of the images -- which we provide to you on disk, with a release to print them, email them, or whatever as much as you want!
Please give me a call at 317-431-7400 if you'd like to set up a consultation to discuss how my assistants and I can help make your wedding memories special.
I'll be at the PWG Bridal Show at The Montage on Sunday May 5. That will be the last day we have the special Friday and Sunday pricing available. Please call or email before then to discuss your wedding plans, and keep the girls working.
And, if you need a free-admission ticket (for the Bride and Groom) click the email link to the right to send me your name and address, and I'll drop one in the mail to you!

Lee and Ben: at the Scottish Rite
The weather outside may have been a bit damp outside, but the atmosphere inside the Scottish Rite was happy and joyful for Lee and Ben!
Here's the link to the slide show...
Ben and the guys
Lee's bouquet featured a bit of grandmother's dress, wrapped around the stem.
We love the red couch...
Lee was very happy. We caught a lot of smiles, grins and giggles.
This was a first for me... a ceremony in the South Lounge. It was dark, but the smiles of the wedding party and the guests brightened the room immensely.

The Big Give & Hoosier Veterans
It's time to give a big Shout Out to Scott and Katie Taylor and all the folks who helped them help Hoosier Veterans.
Part of Oprah's Big Give - Operation Heartland, Scott and Katie were selected to receive a donation that they could use to get the ball rolling and make a difference for a charity of their choice.
Scott and Katie were able to get Indiana Companies and citizens involved, including their own employer FedEx, and more than doubled their original goal of donations to help outfit HVAF's new Donald W. Moreau Sr. Veterans House.
From the HVAF website:
The first of its kind in Indiana, rather than living in congregated quarters, these 40 homeless veterans will reside in individually assigned, private apartments, equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. Residents will also benefit from two on-site Social Workers and a security team. In hopes of creating a fully-operational, safe, and comfortable environment, HVAF will use the next few months to renovate this facility, a project for which the organization has already received funding.
Here are some of the images from yesterday's ceremonies, where Scott and Katie shared their experiences, and announced how much they had raised to help furnish the apartments in the Moreau Veterans House.
Some of my favorite wedding vendors helped with the event, donating their time or products to help thank those who helped Scott and Katie make their dreams of helping Hoosier Veteran's a reality. Special thanks to: Eventful Planning, Hoaglin Fine Catering, and Royal Creations.
